City palace Jaipur includes Chandra Mahal & Mubarak Mahal .This palace was built by Sawai jai Singh 2 from the year of 1729 to 1732. The monument comprises of palaces, temples, gardens .Though Most of the City palace remain as a royal residence to the Royal family of Jaipur but there is a museum too for the history lovers where one can recall the legacy of Rajput Maharajas.
Amer fort was built 11 Kms. away from the city of Jaipur by Raja Man Singh 1 in the village of Amer. This fort is well known for its architecture style and is a major tourist attraction of the city. In the year 2013, Amer Fort was declared as UNESCO World heritage site. It houses Diwan-e-aam, Diwan-e-khas and Sheesh Mahal. Beautiful Maota Lake flows along the side of Amer Fort.
This palace was built by Sawai Pratap Singh in 1799. The palace is made up of pink and red colored sandstone. The palace was specially built so that royal women of that time can see through the road side but nobody from the road could see these royal women. So there are too many windows in the palace which also made cool breeze to flow in the palace.
Jal Mahal is situated in the mid of man Sagar Lake in the city of Jaipur. The Mahal is the most picturesque monument in the city. The Man Sagar Lake went total renovation like slit was removed from the lake; system of water treatment was developed in the lake which attracts the migration of birds due to which beauty of the Jal Mahal enhances further.
Jantar Mantar was built by Sawai Jai Singh and it is a collection of 19 astronomical instruments. It is a declared UNESCO world heritage site. It is situated just nearby city palace and Hawa Mahal. The monument holds a great religious significance as it was used by various astronomers to make calculations. It comprises of 14 major geometric devices used for measuring time and other mathematical aspects.
Albert Hall museum
This museum is the oldest museum of Rajasthan and is also known as govt. central museum. It was built by Sir Samuel Swinton Jacob and was made open for the public in the year 1887. The museum is named after King Edward 7. The museum boasts of an extreme collection of paintings, stones and other things which reminds of the history of Jaipur.
